You Raise Me Up

Extraordinary things sometimes happen at Fountain Digital.

We build websites, you all know that.

Sometimes though, we get the honour of building websites for charities like You Raise Me Up.

From the moment we got to meet the incredible people invloved in this most heartbreaking of causes we knew that a bond would be made for life. So it was that the new You Raise Me Up website was designed and developed.

During various meetings with Lesley, Natalie and Leesa we formulated the necessary vision required to help promote their awe-inspiring work.

The charity deals with the heartache of losing a teenage child and provides both financial and compassionate support to the families during the days, months and years after the tragedy has passed. Indeed, the charities' Trustee, Natalie knows only too well what faces parents and relatives during this most terrible of times.

Natalie's sister Jane, and her husband Fraser, formed the charity after her own daughter (and Natalie's niece) Megan passed away suddenly after collapsing at work. She was only 17.

After the tragedy both Jane and Fraser found themselves in desperate need of comfort from those that had experienced the same loss but could not find the help they so desperatelely needed. Despite their grief they set up the You Raise Me Up charity so no other parents would feel the same way they do.

To date the charity has provided vital help for over 80 families and continue to raise funds via their website, various events and their amazing coffee shop.

It was our absolute pleasure creating this website and we look forward to supporting the team at You Raise Me Up just as they support the various families in dire need of their help.
