Background

Umbrella Bookkeeping is a Bookkeeping and Financial Analysis company based in Brighton. Happy with their website they now wanted to grow their client base, increase enquiries and generate new business in different geographical locations. This had been attempted previously elsewhere and was unsuccessful, so Umbrella Bookkeeping approached Fountain Digital.

‍Our Strategy

‍Firstly, we focused on rectifying the incorrect SEO methods that had been previously used on the website as this had caused the site to drop off Google (and other search engines) for the majority of their keywords.

Both on-page and off-page SEO techniques were used to tackle the task of improving the businesses visibility in Search Engines. With detailed keyword research, competitor analysis, link building and optimising the company’s Google Business listing, we were able to improve the site’s local SEO significantly. Developing new landing pages for different geographical locations, enabling the business to target a far wider area of East and West Sussex

The Results

Umbrella Bookkeeping now boasts number 1 positions in Google for Bookkeeping Brighton and many other locations. In a short space of time we saw results that even surpassed our expectations with Bookkeeping Brighton moving up 17 positions.  

For Umbrella Bookkeeping the phone has not stopped ringing and the leads generated have been amazing – with the potential client base being increased by a phenomenal 48%.
