With over 500 employees, offices in London, New York, Sydney and Singapore, Thought Machine deserved a new website that showcased their effectiveness in the cloud banking sector. We delivered this for them.

Robin Zhang, Thought Machine's Global Marketing Director, approached Fountain Digital to discuss the potential of us re-developing their company website using webflow and its robust CMS system. Robin had already decided to use webflow to create the new site and had utilised webflow's Enterprise tier hosting service as the backbone technology to build upon.

With clients such as Lloyds Banking Group, Standard Chartered and Transfer Go, this was a great opportunity to create a website that showcased this diverse and exciting company.

After our initial meetings Robin chose us to proceed with the development and asked us to use their wire-frame mock ups as a basis for the design. Happily, we were also given a lot of design freedom, where Thought Machine actively encouraged us to explore different avenues of UI and UX that would ultimately benefit their end users.

We made use of weekly design meetings to gradually craft the website into what it is today. Constant feedback from both Robin and Thought Machine's senior designer Artemis Vergou helped steer the project on a true and steady course towards the final product. The meetings also bought us into contact with other members of the excellent Though Machine team who passionately and creatively aided Neil in the development ideas process; Ylenia, Anne, Andre and Asif all helped bring the site up to a standard befitting Thought Machine.

The site benefits from a vast array of CMS content, powering everything from news articles and white-papers, to webcasts and team biographies. Utilising the CMS allows Thought Machine to quickly and efficiently update, amend, edit and create new content.

The team remarked how much easier it was to update their new website than the old one which was created in a third party CMS platform.

The site has many forms, all integrating into Thought Machine's CRM of choice via Zapier. Webflow allows a quick, seamless no-code solution for this, along with the ability to create numerous marketing landing pages and other promotional pages, such as multi-lingual offerings. It really is a marketers dream as the robust SEO solutions in webflow allow pages to rank organically, both quickly and efficiently.

As phase one of the build drew to a close and the site launched, phase two began, including producing a catalogue of educational videos that allows the content editors to efficiently use the editing capabilities of the site. It also brought with it the need to create new CMS collections for Thought Machine's partners and joint solutions. All of this was delivered using the site's CMS, allowing Thought Machine to scale as necessary.

Thought Machine are an incredibly ambitious and exciting company and we are very proud to have been chosen as their website design agency. It's not over yet though, and as the team looks towards the future, phase three isn't far away and we are exceptionally excited to be a part of it.
